I never know now much vanilla stabilizer to put in a soap using a FO that discolors. If a FO has 2.5 % vanilla content would you use the same amount of stabilizer as you would a FO that has 8.3 %. And then would you use a one to one ratio of Fragrance Oil to Stabilizer?

Does your vendor carry this info? I don't use it but I've read somewhere to use a 50:50 ratio of fragrance to stabilizer.

The one I have by Crafter's Choice states to add one part stabilizer to two parts fragrance. For FO w/ over 10% vanilla use 1:1. Soapbuddy is right, double check with the vendor for their instructions. While you're at, you probably know this, but make sure the stabilizer you are using is for the correct soap process you are applying it to. Learned that after plenty of chocolate colored soaps.

Even with a color stabilizer, the soap will darken over time.

It's the white vanilla stabilizer from Natures Garden and I just read instructions. I swear I need stop to think these days.
