It's funny because I've never even thought about it until now. I was in the middle of making a batch the other day when I got a phone call - and I had to take it - I was going to do a Taiwan swirl but by the time I got back to the soap it was already cool and thickened up. So I had to do the old scoop and glop into the mold - we'll see today whether it was a happy accident or not. Anyway, as I was looking at the now cool soap I asked myself, 'Hrm, I wonder if I can nuke this and get it liquid enough so I can do my pour.' Well, I didn't want to risk ruining it so I didn't, yet I'm curious if anyone has ever done this or thrown it back on a pot of boiling water a la double boiler method. Or has anyone done this to see it result in disaster? Cheers!

You can grate it up and make rebatch. http://www.soapqueen.com/bath-and-body- ... -method-2/ This still probably won't give you the swirls you were originally hoping for though. Rebatch soaps tend to stay thicker (like oatmeal) when melted and don't ever get to that thin pourable stage that the CP originally will.

More rebatch soaps here; http://www.soapqueen.com/?s=rebatch

I would definitely rebatch. You will loose the swirls, but you don't want to end up with lye pockets.
