Teach Soap

Hello Everyone,

I've been making soap for a while now and have yet to need to re batch any soap. This batch I made yesterday was plane unscented colloidal oatmeal soap. Today when I unmolded, it looks like it has lye disease. I used the correct amount of lye, however, it did look a little funny after dissolved in water but I went with it anyway (probably big mistake on my part). So can soap with lye pockets or lye heavy be rebatched? or do I throw it out and learn from this mistake?

Did you mix your lye water til it was clear? What do you mean the lye looked funny after dissolved in water? Where did the lye come from and is it pure lye?
Did you superfat?

The lye had turned to a crystallized gel like solution. I stirred it up again until it liquified a bit but never returned to a pure clear liquid. I used just enough water to desolve the lye because I made an oatmeal "milk" for the remainder of the liquid. I super fatted at 2%.
