Teach Soap

Hi! I'm a new here in soap making.I made soap couple of months ago,umm..like 5 months ago.I kept it on a box.So yesterday when I checked the soap,it looks like it got sweat on it?



any idea what it is?

Is it humid where you are? It could be glycerin seeping out form the soap.

Soap makes its own glycerin during the soapmaking process. My bet is on the glycerin. I've seen that with people that make soaps in tropical countries or where there is humidity. Try putting a fan on them and see if that helps. If not, you might need a dehumidifier.

I would suggest trying a dehumidifier. The only time I have noticed sweat on my cold process soap is when I made soap in summmertime when the humidity in my house was a lot higher. I Notice nothing in wintertime so that could be your problem.
