Teach Soap

Well I was going to make a Castile soap but after finding out that it takes 6 months to cure, I've changed my mind. I currently have coconut oil and olive oil on hand that I would like a recipe for. I can get any of the following also if need be; lard, sunflower oil, safflower oil and grapeseed oil.
Anyone have a recipe that would make under 3# using just coconut oil and olive oil?

You could make a 100% coconut oil soap with a 20% super fat. Saponified coconut oil is drying to the skin, but un-saponified coconut oil is very moisturizing. Thus, the 20% super fat allows the soap to be gentle and conditioning to the skin.

I have not tried this recipe yet, but it's supposed to make a very hard bar with good lather.

My go-to, favorite simple recipe is: 70% olive oil, 30% coconut oil. I've made it over and over and over.....

I do 65% Olive Oil, 20% coconut oil 15% beef Tallow...7% super fat. Comes out great, lathers beautifully and is great on the skin & hair.
