When making larger batches of soap... HOW do you do it?!? I thought I would be... adventurous and did a double batch. 100oz of oils! Largest I have ever done before was 50 and that was intense.

I know for some, 100oz isnt a lot, but wow. I didn't have a bowl big enough, so I used my coconut oil bucket. Perfect size for 100oz!

Happily, both loaves seem to be hardening up better than the previous loaf!

What is the biggest loaf you have done?

20 lb. batch at one time is what I do, since that's the heaviest that I can carry. I recycle my 50 lb. coconut oil bucket and use a Waring Big Stick to mix everything. It has a 8" or a 10" stainless steel shaft that fits well into my bucket.

Ok, now I feel like my batch was nothing. Thats major! thats more than double what I did tonight. I watched someone do a 75lb batch on youtube and was in awe.

I'm still small potatoes, so doing anything bigger than a 5 pound loaf ... just is too much. Now when the markets start up for summer, might go more crazy.
