Thnx ljm, & SB yes I did re-run it thru the lye calculator. The new recipe needed another ounce almost of lye, so since it was superfatted @ 10% i figured I had some leeway AND i added quite a few extra ounces of oil during measurements to be sure (since i wasn't going to remix the lye solution). I added a few grinds of (pink Himalayan) salt crystals and clay for coloring. SB, you are right it IS soft i noticed when i cut it into bars after the 2nd night, like usual. Oh, and i forgot to take it out of the blankets so it gelled up on me to 150 degrees before I remembered. AND i added the EOs too late so i mixed too hard trying to get them in and it saponified waaaayyyyy too much before i could get it poured & smoothed into the loafs properly. When i noticed the castor mistake i added lard instead of avocado butter, and the Pink Grapefruit EO is pretty cheap and i read goes bad quickly so i needed2hurry up'n use it anyway, i figured.
Ha ha i messed this loaf up every way you can mess one up and not have to throw it out. I hope. I made a 25% castor loaf once previously before i read that castor at high concentrations isn't safe, but i used it all up to no ill effect. Seemed fine to me.
Thanx you guys...
