I'd like to try jojoba beads in CP soap for gentle exfoliation, but I'm not sure how much ppo to use. Will they melt if I gel? That would be just my luck! :D

The suggested usage rate is 1 – 15% of the product. This roughly equals out too 4 Tablespoons of beads per gallon of suspending liquid soap or 1/4 to 3/4 Tablespoon of beads per pound of bar soap.

These do melt at 140F, with Cold Process soaps I typically see them just sprinkled on the tops of the soaps.

Thanks so much! Now I at least have a jumping off point for my next experiment. :D
