Hi Folks -

I wanted to get a list of what evryone's favorite EOs/FOs and blends are that evoke a Summertime mood.

Also, mention what you use to anchor your oils as I know that florals tend to disappear.

I recently made a batch with Green Clover and Aloe FO that is a beautiful fresh, green and very light floral fragrance. It needed no anchor and is going strong with less than a week left to cure. Even the floral notes are hanging in just fine. These kinds of "green" fragrances always say "summer" to me.

Florals, coconut-like scents, fruits, and just light clean scents all remind me of summer. My most popular so far this year seems to be the fruity ones, I almost sold out of the watermelon soaps and the apple soaps during my first craft fair of the spring season, luckily it was local and I called my husband to bring some more bars from home. The second most popular was a pomegranate scent that I was worried would be too heavy for summer, and a pear scent did very well too.

Interesting...I have had quite a few customers asking for "fresh and herbal scents", but when asked for details, they can't mention a specific herb - for example, they don't want a rosemary, or a mint - leaving me wondering - what does "fresh and herbal" really mean?

I have Fresh Cut Grass from NG, so we'll see how that goes over.
The watermelon makes me curious - do you mind telling which one, goodcleanfun? And it really is strong enough?

Personally, I use almost all unscented for myself, but my customers like stronger scents.
