Teach Soap

Hi Folks -

I am looking for non-bleeding colorants that will give me the following:

Orchid/lilac

Orange

What have you had success with?

BB's Tangerine Wow is a beautiful orange. I usually use ultramarine violet for a a pretty lilac color. I sometimes combine ultramarine violet and ultramarine blue for a darker purple. Have fun!

Ditto the above! You can also mix Ultramarine blue with Electric bubblegum for a somewhat brighter color. Play around mixing small quantities in a little oil to get the ratio you want, and then use that in a larger amount for soap!

I'm really beginning to despise purple! I've had the best luck so far with mixing ultraviolet blue neon with electric bubblegum neon. As for the ultramarine pigments, the ultramarine violet by itself comes out a pukey gray for me, but perks up a lot with the addition of some ultramarine blue. Just got a package of purple vibrance mica that I'm dying to try out but haven't quite figured out a design for it yet.
