Teach Soap

Buy 12 samples for $1.50 each. (Usually $2.60.) Samples are 1 oz. Anybody use this company? I love the fact that BB is candid in their descriptions about negative stuff (discolors, speeds trace, not suitable for CP.) These folks don't seem to have that info on all of their scents. I am definitaly getting Coconut Extreme. Other than that...

That's probably because they don't test them all. I prefer companies that test so you know ahead of time what you are getting or what to expect.

I prefer companies that test their FO's in CP soap, so I know what to expect and if it's an FO worth buying.

Be careful - I bought two good sized bottles of what are "supposed" to be 2 of their tops sellers = Coconut Extreme and Salty Sea Air.

Both are awful - wanna buy a bottle?

Salty Sea Air - just another floral - yawn. Huge acceleration,too.

Coconut Extreme - no scent at all 5 weeks into cure. Horrible blotchy discoloration. Oh, and did I mention ...
NO SCENT AT ALL, even tho I used it at 1 oz ppo.

Save your money.

which company are you referring to. That's horrible. and terrible and crap. !!! did you tell the sucky company about their f.o. ?

o.i.c you're referring to Just Scents. someone else did recommend something from them also!!!!!

I just read the first line in a hurry and typed my answer on the run.

but yes, I was very disappointed. I had read good reviews of both FOs, and had emailed personally with the owner. I thought that other people's review were going to insulate me from errors. wrong! lol I used my reg recipe that never gives me any problems. Now I am stuck with 2 pounds of oils that are useless to me.

I really learned my lesson about ordering anything in quantity without testing first. But their shipping charges were so high for the sample sizes, I just thought, this once, maybe... but I was wrong!

I want a nice coconut also. that is also a hard to find scent that sticks. I love coconut. want that tropical Hawaiian smell. Even though I've never been there.. how would I know... lol

I've tried a few from Just Scent, it's been a few years since I've bought from them though, but here are my notes.
I've tried these in CP:
Japanese Cherry Blossom ~ Scent stuck in CP, didn't discolor or accelerate
White Tea & Ginger ~ Scent stuck in CP, didn't discolor or accelerate
Lemon Sugar ~ Scent faded, discolored, didn't accelerate
Cucumber Melon ~ Scent faded & morphed to a very sweet smell, didn't discolor or accelerate
Plumeria ~ Very strong & scent stuck, but it's a very strong perfume-like scent. Didn't discolor but it accelerated and riced
Pomegranate ~ Very strong at first, but fades. Smells very strongly like red currants with a perfume smell to it. Didn't discolor or accelerate.

I don't order from there very often because you have to contact them for the IFRA after you order the FO and there were some FO's that I had ordered that the IFRA usage rates were only 0.5% in body products. So they were basically unusable in CP & it was really annoying.
