Have any of you used camelina oil? I am looking at changing some of my recipes to see how I can use it. It appears that it wouldn't add to the hardness but would still be good for the skin. Please let me know what you think. Thanks very much. Vivian

It's a soft oil, so it can be used at only a small %. It's also more pricey. Lye takes what it wants. There is no guarantee that this oil would end up as your superfat. Soap is a wash off product. It doesn't moisturize. I would take a look at the ingredients that you use now and do a higher superfat; like 7-8%
