Teach Soap

I have a batch of soap I made almost a month ago. It was sweating FO a couple days after I cut it, but I figured it'd reabsorb and ignored it. I just checked on it to see if a four-week cure was enough or if I should let it sit longer, and it's still got little FO beads oozing out. If it's still sweating at this point, should I assume it's a lost cause and try to salvage it with a rebatch?

I used .7 oz ppo in a 2 lb batch. It was the first time I used the more accurate scale I bought for soaping, but I did pretty extensive calibrating/testing before I used it. I did split it up among three colors for a swirl, but I was pretty sure I divided it evenly enough not to cause a problem.

Which FO did you used and where did it come from? Not all FO's are used at the same rate. Is it humid where you are? Is it possible that it's glycerin seeping out and not the FO? I presume you used a stick blender? Did you reach true trace? How much did you superfat? Did you run the recipe through a lye calculator?

WSP's Lemongrass Green Tea, max CP usage is 6%, which is 1.44 oz for 2 lbs. It's not particularly humid here, I used a stick blender and definitely reached true trace, superfatted 7% using soapcalc.net.

It's possible it's glycerin, it's roughly the same texture/viscosity as the FO so I just kind of assumed that's what it was. Is there a reliable way to tell which it is?

Yep. It mostly tastes like vaguely lemony oil.
