I have been asked for a chocolate milk soap (CP). Do any of you have a preferred milk for using with chocolate scent? What is your experience with cocoa powder? Does is dissolve completely in CP? I will use raw cocoa butter of course, but I haven't tried doing a chocolate soap other than my mocha coffee soap. Thanks for any and all comments!

I haven't tried this recipe, but the author makes it sound like just using cocoa powder and baker's chocolate makes the scent come through. http://offbeatandinspired.com/2012/12/0 ... ocha-soap/

I use normal milk or goat's milk for my soaps. You can use cocoa powder, but it won't add any scent. Use too much and you will get colored bubbles. They could stain a washcloth. You can use raw cocoa butter, which might leave a little bit of a scent. For the scent of chocolate, BrambleBerry carries some nice chocolate fragrances.
