Teach Soap

Okay, here's the short version since I'm in a hurry and have to leave town for a couple days.

CP soap. Measured using soapcalc.com and summerbeemeadow for the conversion to an 18 inch mold.

Measured everything to the tenth of an ounce. I did however put used coffee grounds into my soap out of bad habit. 3lbs. of oils and 1/2 cup of grounds. I did RTCP but I think my lye had cooled a bit too much before I could get to mixing w/ oils. (I didn't measure out ahead of time )

The soap is set but there is a fluid layer of oil on top. If I unmold it will run off. I did use Orange EO and Pthalate-free vanilla FO (1oz. EO & .5oz FO)

When I thought my lye was too low in temp I put on the burner on low to bring it up a little (to 100-120) to melt the oils more and then I stick blended for at least 15 mins. and brought to trace. (took longer felt like)

Put in 220 degree oven covered for 20 mins. turned oven off and left over night. This a.m. I have this and I don't know what to do. this is the first time I've used my wooden mold which is 3.5 in. deep, 18 in. long, and 4.375 in. wide.

PLEASE!! I intend to rebatch but how do I do that when this oily crap is floating on top and I can't stir it in since the loaf is hardened now?

It looks to me like your oils didn't incorporate correctly. Maybe your temp got way too low. I don't do my soap that way so I can't be positive.

I use warm oils and cold Lye/water. Used coffee grounds are OK - that's what I always use.
I don't think I would ever re-heat my Lye/water - that sounds scary to me, but like I said, I heat my oils.

I have had my oils cool down too much before and had a batch come out sorta like yours - so maybe it just got too cooled off.

From what I see, you have separation. Plus you said that your lye had cooled down. Not a good ideal to reheat you lye water. Then you put it in the oven. The side have bubbled. Oven was too hot. I do believe that you can rebatch it. Just check to make sure that it is not lye heavy. Did your lye end up being hotter than your oils? The worse that can happen is that you have to trash it, but first try rebatch...
