Teach Soap

Hello,
I posted on another thread about fragrances that would be good for our school colors, which are orange and black. Now, I'm wondering, has anyone used NG's FUN Soap Colorant- Neon Orange? and if so, does it create a nice bright orange color? or would you recommend another orange for an orange, white and black soap?

Are you making CP soap? I never had any luck with the premixed soap dyes in cp so I started using powder. For "neon orange" I have been using the one from WSP. This is the one I use http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/Pr ... Dye+Powder

For orange, I like to use beta carotene capsules. Suprisingly, the capsule doesn't always dissolve in the soap, so I snip the tip, squeeze and throw the capsule away.

I haven't used that orange.
For a bright orange I like using annatto seeds infused in one of my oils and making sure I gel that soap, will make it nice & bright.

What fo do you plan on using?

I am with Jenny, I use annatto seeds for everything from a pale yellow to a deep orange. The more seeds you infuse, the longer you infuse the seeds, the more infused oil you use, the deeper the color you get.

I might be an odd one out, but I used annatto seeds for coloring one of my soaps. I can still smell it, even though the batch has now cured. I'm not sure I like the smell.

I haven't tried NG's but TKB's Neon Orange (premixed in glycerin) didn't blow my skirt up. It works ok but I find myself adding other colors to make it pop. I'm working myself up to a Conservatorie order but there are so many I want to try!
