I use cocoa butter in most of my soaps. I only use 5-6% and it is usually unscented, but it helps with the hardness since I don't use palm, and the benefits show at a low percentage of use too. As others stated though, even using scented at a higher amount is fine and won't really affect your scent much, if any. I don't use shea in a lot of products because I have found that a lot of my customers do not care for it. I use mango butter instead. In general, shea is softer and doesn't offer the added hardness that cocoa butter does.
