If I buy a 2# mold will it hold a recipe with 2#s of oils or will the 2#s be oils plus lye and water?

You should count oils + water, (if you use Bramble Berry lye calculator it gives the total resulting amount of soap called "yields").

So if I make a batch that has 32 oz. of oils it will not all fit into a 2# mold?

When I use the formula l x w x h x .04 is this oils or oils plus water plus lye?

I am not sure about the formula but if you buy a 2 lb mold and you use 32 oz of oils it won't hold it.. It will be too small. You have to calculate water into your mold size.

A 2 lb. mold should hold a total of oils and water combined.
