So I made some soap today. It was a recipe that had lard and tallow, which I notice tends to trace and gel quickly. While I was scenting a portion of it, the rest just gelled right in the soap pot. I added the FO and poured it in the mold. No separation thus far, but I haven't cut it. I'm wondering if this might be a way to use some of those FOs that seize. Thoughts?

You can add an FO at gel, I don't see why not. Just make sure that you stir very well, so you won't have fragrance pockets.

Sliced the soap this morning, no FO pockets. I used BB's Black Raspberry Vanilla (OMG love love love). Maybe this is just a very well behaved FO and a touchy FO wouldn't work. Going to try it with a difficult FO.
