Ok so I have this pan from pampered chef



I don't really use it in the kitchen so was wondering if it might make a good soap mold.

And if I do...is there anything I need to prep it with before pouring the soap so it comes out easily?

It's a silicone mold. You should not need to prep it with anything.

Yay!!! I've only used it twice because let's be honest here...who likes cupcakes without frosting? And the frosting covered up the pretty flowers.

And if I stick it in the freezer for a bit it will help unstick the soap too right?

That's awesome! I just told my hubby if he ever comes across one in a thrift store (because it's far too much $ to just buy for soap!) that he better buy it for me! I think they'd be awesome soaps!

That's hilarious about your kids! Sounds like something my sister and I would have done back quite a few years ago!
Have you tried the "just like wedding cake" cake?
It starts with a box mix and then you frump it up a little.
It's awesome! The frosting has always been my favorite part of the cupcake too...until I found this recipe!

Gelling the soap will also make it easier to get out of the mold.
