Hi all

Non-gelling - To those of you who do not gel, do you have a preference of mould type, i.e. are silicon moulds any better, worse or indifferent than wooden moulds for refrigerating/freezing?

Soap storage - Is there any harm in storing cured soap in plastic containers as long as has breathing holes?

When I'm doing something where I want to prevent gel - I've been using the from Brambleberry. It fits easily in the fridge. I saw an interesting video on YouTube of someone explaining how they . For preventing gel, they basically had their mold up on a baker's rack (for air flow under the mold) with a big fan pointed at the mold. It made me think that if I really wanted to prevent gel on larger molds, I could put the mold in front of an AC unit.

Storage - As long as the soap can breathe, storing it in plastic bins should be okay.

I prefer not to gel. I use HDPE, plastic and silicone. I don't use wood since it insulates too much for me. I use the fridge or the freezer if need be.
