Teach Soap

Hi All,

Is there any difference in the outcome of Beer Soap based on the Beer used?, e.g. Does Stout beer give a better result than an Ale??? or would it just be a colour result?

You can use any beer you like. From the ones I've tried, in the soap, they are all about the same. The darker the beer, the darker the end result.

I have had good luck with brown porter. It makes a nice warm brown soap. I also added finely ground oatmeal to this soap and used a "warm autumn wood" fragrance - it's a nice fragrance for guys.

Good to know. I guess my husband will get his favourite beer first
