How do you incorporated using cream in soap? Would you do replace the water content or do a water discount?

It should be cold or partially frozen. The book The Soapmaker's Companion suggests using 1/2 milk or cream with half chilled water. You must chill or freeze the cream and incorporate lye slowly to avoid scorching the dairy product.

Try using minimum water required to dissolve all of the lye, then add the room temp cream at trace.
