Teach Soap

I am going to make this and I need help on how much E.O. or Fragrance to use. I have a very hard time getting any scent to last. I cannot smell any once the soap has set for a day.

What scents can I use that will stay

16 oz coconut
16 oz palm
16 oz olive
2 oz Castor (or I would like to sub something else)
13-19 oz water
7.4 lye

Not all scents are used at the same rate. It also depends where they came from. What scents do you have on hand and where did they come from? That would help.

In my opinion 16 oz of palm and 16 oz of coconut and only 16 oz of olive and your other oil could make for a rather drying bar,have you run this recipe through the soapcalc lye calculator? Give it a try and see what your numbers come up like, the numbers are not to be interpreted as the holy bible either but it will give you a good idea and you can still use all of your choice of oils you just may want to redistribute the amounts

The castor oil is used for bubbles and lathers too, so I would used that as part of my recipe. Like what others have mention...run through soapcal and see how the soap would turn out.
