I'm making a soap for a friend with honey from their bees. She wants as much honey as I can get (safely) in the batch. I've used 1 tsp PPO before, but haven't experimented beyond that. What's the "upper limit" on honey usage, PPO?

The rate I read was 1 Tablespoon ppo but that may have been recommended rather than the maximum. Anyone else know?

I use up to 0.5%. I prefer to weigh everything instead of using spoons. MP is more forgiving in measuring.

How does the honey actually effect the soap? More/Less lather? I know it gives it a bit of color, but does it do much else?

Honey adds more bubbles to your soap due to the natural sugars and gives it some color. That's it.
