Teach Soap

So my brother asks me tonight if I would contribute some soap to donate to his school theatre club's silent auction on Saturday!! AAAHHH!!! Thanks for the advance notice bro....

But anyway, I am currently in the process of making ready the labeling/packaging. I was just wondering if anyone had any pointers or information i absolutely direly needed to know. This will be the first time my soap has left the house. Up until now it has been only for family use.

I guess my real question is, is this even a smart idea, or should i tell him i can contribute other items, like my laundry detergent/fabric softener and maybe some whipped shea butter lotion instead. (although, he wont be too happy, he seemed really excited about the soap idea)

How long have you been making CP soap? (from your post about your second batch, a month or two now?) How confident are you in strangers using them? Have you got some ready? Ie already cured for min 4 weeks if gelled, 6 if not gelled?

It's completely up to you if you choose to add your soaps or not, and it needs to be something you are 100% confident in doing. Don't let your brother guilt you into something you don't feel ready for.

IF you do decide to go ahead, make sure all ingredients are clearly marked on the label so that anyone with allergies can check. Weight of soap, your business name, contact details etc. And obviously the name of the soap.

I don't know how long you've been making soap, but the only post that I can find is from Oct 24 with the morphing oxide. Is this the one you're giving away or is it from a more recent batch?

The one from October would be the one I would be giving away, along with a goats milk and honey bar made at the same time. Yeah, my posts have been very light lately thanks to school. I feel pretty confident about other people using the bars, my main concern was that since I'm still getting everything set up online, etc. That I do not yet have insurance or anything like that.
