Quick question. I did my first 6.5kg batch yesterday (cherry popped my new mold!) and due to the way the cookie was gobbled, I ended up making it with room temp lye and oils. I've done this before so wasn't worried, but was surprised at the near 20 minutes it took to even get to a THIN trace.
I assume because the element of heat was missing, and the sheer size of the batch, that was the culprit for it taking so long? Soap looks fantastic this morning - smells great (for an unscented soap!) so all is good. Just want to double check before I jump into my second go today...
Was an unscented, uncoloured, GM batch...
