ljm1180, the coffee soap looks great and I love the swirls in your Wasabi soap.

Wasabi is one of my favorite BB FOs. To me, it smells very grassy and green with a touch of heat from the ginger. I love it!

I made this one today using BB Red Currant & Thyme FO and burgundy oxide for the swirls. I am thrilled with the way it turned out!!!!

As well you should be! It is beautimous! *In case you aren't familiar with my Son's slang, that is a combination of beautiful and fabulous.
I don't have any of oxides, have never used them, but you are convincing me, I just many need to put another toe over the line and try 'em!

LJM fantastic soap! You are just going to town with all that soapmaking. I love crinkle cutters but sometimes have a hard time getting it to cut straight. I did get a bread slicer but the 'rungs' are too tall.... need to wait for a nice warm day so I can get out a saw and cut them down.

LJM; I love the way this turned out too, and you should be proud! I am sending you good vibes so you won't have colored bubbles, just seriously beautimous soap!

I have a mitre box too, but the cutters don't fit it. Went to lowes to get another and all they had was plastic ones, which didn't have wide enough slots either!

My first ITP swirl, It's ungelled GM soap with alkanet root powder for swirl colour.

Leesh, good job, very nice ITP swirl. Good mix of color thru out.

Leesh wow for your very first isn't it exciting! Your color came thru beautifully and the saturation of color is perfect! Really NICE!

What did you use for a mold?

Thanks bubbles2, mella and ljm, I am supprised it came out so well because I just blended to a very light trace, poured some off for my colour and by the time I had quickly mixed that in the top of the plain soap was starting to really thicken up so it was a quick dump, stir and pour LOL.
Mella the scotch whisky I buy comes in a cardboard tube so I thought it would be a perfect mold, all I do for the moment is line it with a large freezer bag, which sometimes makes the outside a little ugly, but hey who cares its only for me and family and friends.
