Wow, these are all gorgeous soaps!

Soapchick, love the Energy soap - the layers and embeds are so pretty, and I like the bright pink color!

The swirling on the Lemongrass Mint is wonderful, ljm1180! (Sounds like a yummy fragrance, too, as does the Eucalyptus Spearmint.) I love my crinkle cutter, too!

Beautiful salt bar, mella! The swirls are gorgeous!

I like your latest too.

So it was applesauce...again...but look how pretty!
Its the FO I know it now. Got some air pockets along the edges, but Im so geeked that its pretty! Accidental swirl in the pot, it was setting up so quickly I didnt get it all mixed. Made it in my oval PVC pipe. Its offical I am addicted. I think of this all the time, everything looks like a potential mold. I made another mold yesterday just for swirling tops. yayyy :O)

I got the PVC into an oval by putting it on a cookie sheet in a 250* oven for 10-15 minutes, took it out...had a piece of cardboard on the floor, then used potholders to push it down evenly, wasnt hard. Dont wander away from the oven it doesnt take long.I didnt think it would work being that its so thick but it did! Let it cool off. Then i set it in a small cake pan, melt wax and pour it at the base for a plug about an inch thick, let it harden . After my soap is set and ready to un mold i break off the excess, throw the mold in the freezer for maybe 30 minutes, then run a small paring knife around the wax plug, I then put a small plastic bottle I have on something that wont slip, put the wax end on it , give my mold a big bear hug and push down...out it pops! I use a really lite coating of vaseline in the mold before pouring also. I can reuse the wax every time as well, it just has to be melted back down.
