Hi guys,

I'm new here and in CP soap making.

There is my first batch :mrgreen:

. Im searching for stable formula and soon i fould it will start to decorate it :lol:

But i have i don't know how to say "Soda ash" maybe? How to avoid that?

That is soda ash. There are a few ways to try and avoid it, this is a great post that gives you a few options.

My first attempt at cp did not turn out as planned. It was meant to look like sea glass peaking through the wet sand... looks more like pickle loaf.

My second batch looks better although I discovered that my melt and pour soap colors are not cp friendly. What were supposed to be lavender and Green turned pink and orange .

Cut my third batch. This batch was made with coffee and colored with coco powder. I attempted a hanger swirl but it barely noticeable sense the soap is so dark and it went to a thick trace very quickly probably due to me using a flavored coffee bean to brew the coffee, I'm thinking that it probably had a fairly high sugar content.

Okay so my wife gave me some one ounce bottles of fragrance oils and some soap colors for an early father's day present. Now how many dad's can say that?
She requested a blue "beachy soap" using the coconut lime FO she got me. I added a little bergamot, tangerine and mint EO and got a soap that smells like a mojito. I'm calling it Mojito Waves.
