I am so jealous... I can't wait to be able to do stuff like that! I love the little peaks on the Chai Tea soap. And the colors in the Coconut Lemongrass. Maybe one of these days...Sigh...

@SoapBuddy - it does smell divine, I must admit, I hope it works good as a shampoo bar!!
@SoapyJoes - I didn't think it would come out that dark, it does look like chocolate though!!

Ljm, ha ha ha, I DID make chocolate covered bacon the other day. And it turned out great! Took it to work for a meeting and all but the vegatarians loved it! Just think of sweet and salty together.

Oh goodness the swirls, the funnels and the vanilla smells coming thru the screen and the lemongrass wow you all have it going on! I love your photos and your colors and your techniques are really cool too!

Nothing fancy but my very first two batches of CP soap are out of the mold today and officially curing.

No scent and no color for both batches.

That's the best way to begin because then you know what your recipe will do. My first few batches were plain jane soaps. After that I was comfortable with the process and started adding natural color and some FO. Now I've graduated to ultramine & oxide colors and different FO's.

Fantastic! That was something on my list to do, but just getting all the different color rounds was overwhelming to me. My round imbed mold holds only about 2 oz of soap... that would be a whole lot of little batches to get all those colors!
