Teach Soap

I've never had palm oil accelerate trace, but PKO flakes make for speedy soaping in my experience.

Okay, I just finished the 100% OO recipe and only SB'd until it was well emulsified. I used .5 oz./pound of Eucalyptus FO and some colorant. I added the FO in with the oil and stirred it well with a spatula before adding the lye water. I FINALLY got a batch that did not get thick on me!! I was able to do three colors, white, neon yellow and neon red. I can't wait to unmold it!

Now a question, since this is all OO will it take longer than overnight for me to unmold it? It's in a 3 lb. wooden mold that I made myself and has three large bath towels insulating it.

I'm so excited that I'm going to bed early tonight so I can see how it looks first thing in the morning! I just might have to do another batch tomorrow

I have it wrapped in three towels so it will reach gel. Yes, I did stick blend but not to a full trace. I did stick blend some more to get the colorants to blend completely. I didn't want to stick blend more because I didn't know if the FO would accelerate trace or not.

It's much better today so I took it out of the mold. Still too soft to cut though so I'll probably give it several days for that. I can't wait to cut it!
