Jilly, those look great! So glad you were able to post pictures! :D

Cetawin, thanks for the info on the Pinot Grigio. I was wondering about that one. Your soap looks nice.

Linda try it...it really is awesome. I am not a fan of soft scents usually but I really like this one. My next order will have a large bottle of it on it for sure...my hubby liked it too.

Sudsalot those are really pretty. Love caramel natural looking one.

I made a few the other day trying to get the red color. I got more red but I certainly didn't master Soapcakes pretty Christmas lookiing soap. I should have let the trace get thicker cause my red dipped down into white and my tops flattened out. I fragranced it with Eygptian Musk and it smells so goood.

I made one and tried a new FO for me named Wild Currant Sandlewood. It smells so good. The sandlewood takes the tartness off of the Currant,
In the same photo is a Lavender Vanilla/French Lavender mix. No color as it always turns Dark. I used all goatsmilk in this one too

Beautiful soaps everyone! I really love that white, pink and yellow BAMA!

If you are having problems "fluffing" up your tops (you said they went flat?), something I do is pour my soap up in the mold, go wash up all my soaping dishes, then come back to it with a plastic spoon. That usually gives it plenty of time to reach the consistency you need for texturing the tops. Hope that helps!

I like your soaps BAMA! The red look like raspberries with cream.

BAMA, those are some super looking soaps! I really like the swirl colors in the sandalwood one.

Let's see if putting all my brain cells together has resulted in my being able to post photos...

Here is what I see in the "preview":

NOTE: no asterisks (*) I did that so I could throw off the HTML and you could see the code.

 Admin: please delete post. Sorry for attempting, and failing, at the simple task of POSTING A FRIGGIN' PHOTO.

Attempt below is per Flickr instructions as "appropriate code to use"!!!!???

AprilPrey I was having severe pic posting issues too. Lisa was kind enough to explain how on this thread on page 275. Use Photobucket. It's much easier. I had spent 3 full nights trying to get pics posted. Using photobucket took 5 minutes, including signing up. Read Lisa's tutorial! It's really helpful and much less frustrating. I know your pain firsthand!

Thanks for that feedback. I was afraid Flickr was the issue. I have been with Flickr for some time. With thousands of photos to sort/manage (photography has been another hobby for a while) I was dreading having to switch to Photobucket just for this forum. Meh. Maybe a hint from the universe to get off my lazy butt, learn Dreamweaver, get my own site up.

Thanks for all the compliments. You all inspire me with your lovely creations. I got a BB package on Tues with a Sample of Midnight Pomegrante and it smells really good OOB. I think I am going to have to order a real bottle of the Wild currant Sandlewood if the Fragrance sticks. I really love the smell. I think i may have to try bathing in it in about two weeks. I saw a recipe on SoapQueen for a bar with 10 X Orange Oil on one side and Yuzu on the other half. I may have to try that as I love Fragrances.

This is my test to see if this is the correct way to post pics!

I made this with Sleigh Ride FO from BB and added poppy seeds. My first in-the-pot swirl!

Here is my Calendula Soap! I grew the Calendula all summer and dried the petals. Made an olive oil infusion for lotion bars and then saved the petals for soap!! Used Gardenia Cybilla FO from BB.

Super excited!!

Nice soaps Sherri! The photo is a little big, but it's not bad. Did you resize it in PhotoBucket?
