I am technologically challenged. I've tried and tried to get pics of my soaps here to show off. I keep getting that the file is too big. I got one on of my first CP still in the mold, but I wanted to show you how pretty it turned out. Not to be. I tried photobucket but there's no explanation that I can find on how to get the photo from there to here. Alas, no pics from me. I've spent toooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many hours on it. I'll just have to enjoy your photos and let you fantasize about my soaps!

jilly I know a lot of technologically challenged people and I know they can ALL post pictures with just a little help. Here is my Photobucket Illlustrated guide for you. Sometimes visuals help...or at least they do for me. This might end up be way too big and I apologize for that, if it is.



I think I will post it in the New Trends & Off Topic Chatter forum as well for others to view and use if they need.

Did a FO test batch and I really love this FO. It discolors to a prety yellowish color and is a soft feminine scent...very nice. BBs Pinot Grigio. These will be sample bars but a big batch is coming for sure. I was losing light and snapped a quick pic with my phone. I will get better pics.

Lisa, thank you so much for your techno workshop! I can't believe I spent 3 different nights trying to do these photos, and a few minutes with your tutorial . . . well, here goes! Thank you for your help.









My 1st CP soap, which I did get a pic of it in the mold on an earlier post, is scented with Hawaiian Lei and Japanese Cherry Blossom. My 2nd CP soap is scented with Cucumber and Honeydew Melon. Both have waves and glitter tops. They were cut into bars and are curing in the linen closet. These pics are the top and bottom of both soaps once they came out of the mold.

Today I had a showing on my house, which is for sale. The people commented about how fresh the house smells! I showed the lady my soaps but explained she couldn't touch it because it was curing. She begged to smell it, so I picked it up for her. She was amazed!
They liked the house, but so have others. Let's see an offer in writing with earnest money before I get excited.
I am excited about how my soaps turned out. Once I added the FO, they both accelerated so quickly I was lucky to get them in the mold and swirled at all. I used my Home Depot plastic box mold for both of these, which I had lined with plastic bags.
Here they are sliced, although my blue/green one is a bit blurry:



I have to admit, I am rather proud at how they turned out! Thanks again for your help Lisa!
