I had a batch rice on me for the first time ever yesterday. I whisked it til it smoothed out, it didn't take long. There were still little white chunks on the bottom on the pan, I just didn't completely scrape the pan out. Hopefully the soap turns out!

To rebatch, put it either into a crock pot or in a oven safe container and put it in the oven. Keep stirring, til it becomes the consistency of mashed potatoes or apple sauce. Then stir well again and glop into your mold. The consistency of rebatch will not be as fluid as CP again.[/quote]

Do I need to add any liquids? I've read that adding more oils can reduce the lather, and that it's almost necessary to add a tiny bit of water when melting.

If the soap is new or fairly new, there is no need to add any extra water nor extra oil. The exception to this would be if the soap is lye heavy. Then you would need more oil.

The cherry soap is lovely! The color fantastic too. Do you think the color will stain a wash cloth? Some people don't have a problem with that.

I have heard that if you keep a glass of cold water handy, you can pour it into a seized batch to straighten it out with a whisk.
Has anyone tried that method?

Here is a soap that fell from trace the blue, the green seized and this soap was reprocessed three times. The fragrance was damaged but ok. Definitely a home soap and for good friends! :shock:
