I've been hearing about soapbuddy's tooth soap for quite a while now, and I've never heard anything but positives, so I'm convinced.

okay, I just had a wave of laziness - do you sell tooth soap so I don't have to make it myself? I peeked around your site, but didn't find it.

I make my own toothpaste- I love it. It isn't a "toothsoap" per se, as it doesn't really have any soap properties.

If you'd like to try the one I use, the ingredents are:

4 parts baking soda
2 parts FRESH aloe vera (or food grade 100% aloe vera gel) (I find that 100% aloe vera gel is very hard to find, so I just bought a plant)
1 part hydrogen peroxide
1 part water
1 part peppermint extract

Shake well & store in an airtight container.

A "part" for me is a teaspoon. This will last me about a week, maybe less. I'll scoop it out with a small spoon to try and keep the uckies out. I think it feels very fresh and clean, moreso than regular toothpaste, and it doesn't have floride (sp?)

First of all, Thank you soapbuddy for the toothpaste recipe. I have a couple of questions; First, when talking about Flavoring oils, are you referring to the flavor oils at the grocery store in the baking section? Second, after making this soap, do you let the soap cure for 8 weeks like normal soap? Thanks in advance. Oh, one more question, can you sub Sweet Almond Oil for the soybean oil & Palm oil for the Palm Kernel Oil?

ok, thanks, so I guess I can't sub the Palm Oil for the Palm Kernel Oil? I thought Palm Oil made your soap hard, no?
