Teach Soap

My husband built my cutter for me. Its kind of like a harp with a platform that I can push down on the loaf. I had shown him several of the cutters that were on my dream list and how much they cost, after that I didnt even have to ask him to build it for me. The best part about it is he also built my loaf molds and they are all the same size, so everything fits.

They really are. For the most part he is pretty disinterested in my crafting. But the soaping is another story. He seems to be pretty much very interested...or maybe its that he thinks that after a year+ of unemployment I have found something I enjoy doing that I can potentially make money at.

I hope this post isn't too late and that you get it. I went to Home Depot and in the drywall area were some very wonderful stainless steel blade taping knives. They had 8" wide, 10" wide, 12" wide and even larger. These have a textured plastic handle although the mounting to the handle is aluminum. But I really think it will be ok.

It was under $10 for the 12" knife.

Maybe I'll ask Santa Claus for a miter box, but I've spent enough money right now. Will be using a ruler for awhile . . . Santa just got my daughter one of her special gifts (a skateboard), which is hiding in the floor storage of my RAV4.
