Depending how much ground coffee you use, yes it can bleed.

This might sound stupid but.... I am making a coffee soap. I made my strong coffee to use as my water in my lye mix. Can I use the coffee grounds that I brewed with or does it have to be new grounds?? Should I grind them up a little smaller or use as is??

As an alternative to pumice you might also try ground apricot seeds. I seem to remember using a couple of tablespoons in a 4 lb batch & finding it a bit too much for a shower soap but great for a gardener's soap.
