Teach Soap

I have never had any problems with this scent. My soap traces in its normal time, able to do swirls, layers etc. I can't speak to discoloration because I have always used either brown oxide or cappuccino mica.

honey will give you a nice tan color, but it can overheat so not sure that is what you want to use with the FO the first time. I add the honey to the lye water to get the tan color, also gives a honey scent

For brown soap, I brewed a strong coffee allowed to cool and used it as the water portion with great results.

Sea Shore Crafts, What a great idea! I really like the Reindeer harness... will wait to make this for Christmas next year. My peppermint soaps get tons of compliments from the family.... I hope this one will be a winner as well. Thanks much for the name recommendation!

Coolah, I think that would be leather and chocolate! That may have to be my next experiment with leather!

You guys have an entirly different perception of "skid marks" than I do. Just to clarify, I named it guilded leather as I did a clear M&P swirl in it that had gold sparkle mica in it! I'm still game to try chocolate and leather.... better check to see how much leather FO I have left before sending in my next order!

The creativity abounds! I think some of you guys should go into business just NAMING the soaps! I'd never think of the titles you do!

Well....I tried Leather with a bit of Musk.....bleck! Definitely not a keeper at our house----in fact hubby almost made me throw the whole batch out. None of the kiddos like it either, although I do like the color that the cocoa powder gave it....

So Carrie, was it the leather or the musk? My DH is not as big a fan of the leather as I am, but then he never was. When we would visit the mall and pass Wilsons leather shop I would go in just to smell the leather, now they have left the mall so I have no futher reason to visit there!
