I've always soap at 33% lye Concentration until I found a website that you can input your mold size and it will tell you the amount of oils and water to use... SummerBeeMeadows calc.
I noticed that when determining the amount of water to use per mold, it was telling me to use 30% lye concentration.. I figured that out once I input the same numbers in SoapCalc, it was not until I set the Lye Concentration to 30% that the numbers matched...and they did because ever since then, my amounts are exactly correct to fill my molds.
So ever since, I have switched to soaping at 30% lye concentration.. so far, I have not had any complaints and the soaps are great!
What I mean is that when determining the amount of oils to use per mold.. you multiply the HxLxW, then x .41.. Well, to get the right amount of water to use.. you should use 30% Lye concentration or 33% Water Percentage which is pretty close to the same.
