I will have to visit nizzy's site when I get to this point! I hope Jessi looks into getting a stick blender. Jessi you could check the thrift store - just test it before you leave the store, I got mine a year ago for 3.00!

Sometimes A Mistake is so much fun, You just have to do it again!

I've been keeping my eye out for a stick blender, just haven't found one yet for cheap. The soap was still liquid last night, so I threw it in the freezer to solidify and pop them out of their molds this morning and let them thaw. I microwaved it for about a minute and then I used the hand mixer for about 10 minutes and got a thin trace (finally!! lol) and then I added 30 grams of milk (to try to accelerate trace...) and then mixed it for another 10 minutes or so and got a nice thick trace (medium? not stiff enough for thick peaks, but it wouldn't go perfectly smooth either) and then put it in molds... and tonight it is a little "sticky" still, but it's getting hard. Woohoo!! I know I may have ruined it along the way with everything I've done to this poor soap, but it's the first batch. I didn't expect it to be perfect. Thanks for all your help.
