How much lectin do you add, Soapbuddy? I too have been having issues with accelerated trace and seizing, and frankly, I'm tired of it! I've always done botanical soaps, but this year (2010) I've ventured into FO's and they are causing me headaches!!! My customers love the scented soaps, but the pain that it has become makes me want to go back to no FO's at all!
Any advice is appreciated.

I did not know that! I will have to do that as I recently bought a 7 pound bag of it. but the palm oil I used for that recipe came from a 1 pound jar. so I should have melted the whole thing then stirrd and poured off what I needed? cant just scoop it out like peanut butter, then melt it out?

I often reserve 5% of my liquid oils and add my fragrance to that. When I get to thin trace I stir that into the batch really well and pour immediately... as long as it still looks like I have some level of trace. The extra oil gives me at least a few seconds to work even on tricky FO's and makes it easy to blend.
