I'm the type of person to not buy a piece of garbage anything- I'd rather spend a few extra bucks and get a good product. That being said, I felt kinda like you did, didn't want to spend a lot of money if I didn't know if I'd continue with this. I bought a $10 SB from Albertsons and it works great. I don't expect it to last forever but it was a minimal investment and it's holding up fine in the meantime.

How great is this? My friend was going to the Goodwill yesterday and I asked her to take a peek for a stick blender. And what do you know...they had one! It was marked $3 and 50% off with the red tag sale..$1.50...woot woot! They did plug it in to be sure it worked and I have yet to give it a whirl in soap, but I am super excited. Thanks everyone!!
