Teach Soap

I'ts only 1kg batch. I'd ideally like to (now having to re-batch) cook it enough that it can be used ASAP.

Rebatched soap can be used right away, but it's better if you can wait about 2 weeks. This gives the soaps a chance to dry up and for the water to evaporate.

Thanks so much, I just glooped my soap into the molds, they look rather ugly, and as soon as I started trying to spread out the mix it started to solidify on top so I had to work quickly. I chucked them straight into the freezer to cool off and then I'll cut them, just hoping that it's all worked out ok. Thanks again for all your help

You're welcome. They will be easier to cut if they are not completely frozen. Otherwise, once you get it out of the mold frozen, you will need to wait til it comes back to room temp.

Well the rebatched GM soap turned out better than I expected it to, my mum was aroung at my house whe I was cooking it and she said 'don't know how you think you're going to get soap out of that', lets just say the only thing my mother has ever been suportive of is me going to Uni, oh well that's another story. I think they look like brownies mmmm.
Sorry the photo is not real good, couldn't get it any clearer.

The soap might be a little aesthetically challenged, but I bet it will make a very nice soap.

Thanks again for all your help, it hasn't detered me, I made another batch last night; unscented lavender bud and oatmeal, I put it into the freezer for about an hour or so, then took it out so it didin't heat up at all, I'll post pics in a new topic when I've cut it.
