Teach Soap

No Sue I'm not a Neighbours fan, or any soapie for that matter... got sick of the same storylines been re-hashed. I got the nickname Toady back in about '83/84 when I was about a year or so old. Been a farm kid I use to often go around with no nappy and this one time we were visiting my grandparents in mid west NSW and whenever my grandfather picked me up I'd either wee on him or if I was wearing a nappy it'd be wet and he'd exclaim "That bloody toad's done it again!", eventually it got changed to Toady and has stuck ever since... So it originates long before neighbours and 'Toadfish'.

In soap news I made a 100% tallow batch today, the FO caused an almost seizure but I managed to get it in the mould before it became unworkable

Did another batch of carrot honey, it gelled and I managed to cut it within about 24 hours, love the swirl

I made my first batch of CP soap today. I must have dreamed about it all last night in anticipation. Does this make me officially addicted? I should admit, however, that my first few batches of soap were made using the hot process method (and my trusty, dandy crockpot). After reading in so many places that I should have started with the cold process, I decided I should give it a try. I'm looking forward to comparing the difference in the final product between CP and HP. But, oh the wait!
