^^^Yup, I totally agree...because I did 3 scents yesterday, two big batches and two little batches. The first big batch was the 2% one, and the ash started forming almost immediately, so I presto-change-o added a teense more beeswax, and no problem with the rest of the soap.

I *do* notice some little flecks of hardened beeswax though...will those saponify out, or am I destined for rebatch? I'm hoping that it's like pancake batter, and they'll "cook out" LOL! Did I pour too quickly?

ETA: the beeswax was melted with 50-50 olive oil in the micro, so it's not 100% beeswax flecks...

Beeswax has a fairly high melt point. If they didn't melt by now, I doubt they will. If it's just a few flecks here and there, I wouldn't worry about it.
