The castile I made (100% organic OO) is about 4 months old and I keep a bar in the bathroom for washing my face. Its still a little slimy and there's not a lot of lather, but yes, its a luxury soap. I'm going to start making it a couple times a year.

I'm thinking about infusing the OO in the next batch or using patchouli or some other long lasting EO. Unscented, the soap itself has a mild fragrance, almost like almond. Its my personal favorite.
I have another batch I did with Calendula infused oil that's been sitting for about 5 months. In the beginning it was slimy and icky, but I didn't realized it was because of the high OO content. Guess I'd better cut a slice and test it.
I don't do a water discount because of the extended cure time. To make it pretty, I take it to thick trace and texture the top after pouring. It looks like frosting. Mine was pale green from the organic oil, but once it was used a few times it washed away to a bright, clean white.
