Teach Soap

LOL I keep adding them to the cart then takeing them out . I think I will stick with Olive oil , coconut oil, castor oil, and I will splurge on the avocado oil its not that pricey at BB . I have Crisco at home and I am on the hunt for sunflower oil here as well. But from all the watching and reading I have been doing coconut oil castor oil and olive oil are the main ones and alot of people use palm but I was thinking I could sub the crisco oil for that ?? any thoughts on that?
I have one scent and one essential oil. Im useing pringles can, juice cans, flips containers ( just a plug here for those , I dont know if you all have seen them they are chocolate coverd pretzals and they come in this really neat shaped container that I thinkwill make a big fun bar.) I also have small heart shapped chocolate boxes and I will use a flat rate medium sized box for a regular type box mold.
Besides the therm and gloves and some small containers I think IM pretty much set. I have some ice cream buckets, reusable microwave containers a large hard plastic bucket and an old thick glass jug if I need it though I will try not to use glass. Alot of my stuff is things I have around the house , I will be makeing these soaps for me my son and some family after I have the process down pat so I dont think I need to invest in a bunch of stuff for soap makeing though I would love love love to have some of the nice equipment and molds I really dont need them.
Im so excited. I get the rest of my stuff on friday and I am hopeing to try my first batch on saterday

Thank you all so much. I have learned so much here. I am so excited , I am hopeing to make my first batch of soap this weekend. I bet I will be a little over safe lol I am not much of a risk taker these days , haveing a child made me into a bit of a pairinoid safety freak . My motto is its better to be silly then to be sorry when it comes to being a bit overselous on saftey.
