Teach Soap

I made a couple small tester batches this week and it was really fun, the soap is kind of cool and different. Has anyone else made whipped CP soap? What are thoughts? Any pics?

I did recipe #3, the only thing i would change is the amount of water suggested, it just seemed like too much, my first batch was watery and didn't form well.

The second batch i added sugar to the soap after the lye mixture was poured in to make sort of an exfoliation bar, it feels pretty hard right now but after it cures i will give it a good test.

They are very pretty SB! I found the whipped soap to be really fun to work with. I will try to re-upload the pics tomorrow.

This is also on my to do list. I am waiting until I can find a stand mixer at the thrift store. I like the look of them. Will look forward to seeing yours citymouse!

Have you tried dropping the soap in water? It floats, really fun for kids. The only thing is it doesn't last at all, probably 50% air But you never have to worry about soap ash!

I love them and tried them a few years ago, make them around Easter for the fun colors, pastels they make. I learned from this site:http://nizzymoulds.com/Whipped/index.htm My grankids love them because they float and I like them in a bath myself, never have to find them on the bottom of the tube
