I have run out of Lye and am patiently waiting for my order to arrive. I'm starting to get the shakes & am becoming extremely cranky!!!!

If it doesn't come soon, I'm afraid DH might throw me into a detox program

Maybe you can play with some of your soaps that are already made? I find that doing that, browsing the internet for 'soap porn' and reading the forum helps ward off withdrawal when I'm waiting for an ingredient

Yep...... wine is the ticket. Then you can page through all the scents and figure out which ones to buy next.......actually, BB has a Berry Wine that's supposed to be good!

I found a local chemical company that sells lye for 79.00 plus tax for 50lbs. Does that sound like a good deal to you?

that would be a good deal, considering the taxes???? and shipping costs???? I bought from the lye guy, mainly because I want to support small businesses. My order turned out to be $3.60 per pound (that includes everything). That price would be significantly reduced if I had bought 50 lbs!!!

Oh, forgot to say. My Brambleberry ordered came yesterday. Big order. Placed another order today for $76 for the stuff I forgot. I am addicted and need a 12-step program.

I know what you mean. It seems the last 2-3 orders I ordered something that was out of stock, but didn't know it until the order arrived. So, what do I do? Order more stuff with the out of stock item. THen the NEW batch has an out of stock...wash, rinse, repeat. Dare I try again? I might need to take out a loan....

I'm gonna make the leap to having a larger stash of EO's I think...

Spotted Cat - you are TOO funny! But, I know you feel - having to wait on a key ingredient. Do you make other things (lip balm, fizzies, creams, body butter). Maybe you could divert your attention that way...
